The WhisperKOOL SC PRO Series is a premium line of self-contained, through-the-wall wine cellar cooling systems designed for DIY enthusiasts and serious collectors. As an upgrade to the traditional SC and XLT series, the SC PRO introduces redesigned blower fans for quieter operation and an active condensate management system.

  - No HVAC Technician Required: This self-contained unit fits between standard wall studs using a single-piece mounting bracket, eliminating the need for professional line-set installation.
  - Liquid-Temperature Bottle Probe: A retractable probe tracks the actual liquid temperature inside a wine bottle—rather than fluctuating air temperature—to deliver precise cooling.
  - Advanced Condensate Evaporator: The built-in system automatically evaporates up to 3 ounces of moisture per hour, utilizing the drain line only as a backup safeguard.
  - Smart Refrigerant Metering: A TXV valve dynamically adjusts the flow of R-134a refrigerant to optimize energy efficiency and airflow performance.
  - Coated Evaporator Coil: Provides enhanced protection against rust and corrosive elements common in damp cellar environments.

The SC PRO series offers four models based on cellar size (cubic footage), assuming the room is fully sealed and insulated with a proper vapor barrier:

Critical Installation Requirements
  - Temperature Differential: The unit maintains a steady 55°F cellar temperature, provided the exhaust area does not exceed 85°F.
  - Exhaust Placement: The unit must vent into an indoor utility space, basement, or large non-living area. Avoid venting directly outdoors or into tig​ht closets.
  - Dedicated Circuit: All models require a standard 115V setup on a dedicated 20-amp circuit.
