EuroCave Modulosteel: The Ultimate Modular Wine Racking System
The EuroCave Modulosteel is a contemporary, modular wine racking system crafted from black painted steel to create a sleek, industrial-style wine wall. Designed for endless side-by-side assembly, it maximizes bottle capacity while offering complete aesthetic and layout flexibility for modern home cellars or retail tasting spaces.
Core Specifications & Modularity
- Structural Material: Robust, clean-lined black painted steel for a minimalist, timeless aesthetic.
- Dimensions: Available in two heights (1160mm or 2000mm) and two widths (520mm or 720mm) to accommodate various ceiling heights.
- Stability Architecture: Features a three-part fastening system for total security, including adjustable cylinder bases, a top-post screw system for wall alignment, and an adjustable depth-slide system to secure the unit against the wall.
Dynamic Layout & Storage Options
Each row utilizes patented "Main du Sommelier" bottle supports to safely cradle any bottle shape, from standard Bordeaux and Burgundy to Champagne and magnums. The framework adapts to three distinct storage variations:
- Horizontal Storage: Maximizes vertical capacity across 17 rows, holding 85 to 136 bottles per module.
- Inclined Display: Tilts 40 to 64 bottles across 8 rows for a retail-style label presentation.
- Original Wooden Cases: Integrates specialized sliding shelves to store standard 12-bottle wooden wine crates.
Key Modules & Components
The system can be customized or expanded over time with official extension units:
- Full-Height Frame (MS1-L-60): The foundational structure holding up to 160 bottles.
- Sliding Shelf Cabinet (OMS1): A standalone unit containing 6 sliding shelves for 72 bottles (approx. $1,300–$1,465 CAD).
- Sliding Plate for Wine Cases (OMS4): A water-repellent melamine MDF tray designed to glide out individual 12-bottle wooden cases.
- Finishing Accessories: Options include the OMS2 Table Top tray to create an elegant mid-height tasting counter within the frame line.
