WhisperKOOL Slimline Self Contained Wine Cellar Cooling Units
We are happy to announce the first unit in our new luxury series (LS). The new Slimline LS has evolved into a unit that can cool at two capacities at the flip of a switch. We have added centrifugal blowers, which are significantly quieter and can also be set at a medium or low speed, larger coils for greater system capacity, and an improved condensate management system. The controller has been moved to the condenser side of the unit for easier access.
UV-C Lighting System is NOW available on our SC PRO (2000, 3000, 4000) and Platinum Split (4000, 8000, Twin) cooling systems joining our Slimline and Phantom
What is UV Light Technology?
When considering UV light, the first thing that may come to mind is skin cancer or harmful radiation. However, UV light’s effects vary depending on its specific wavelength. UV Rays emitted from the sun consist of UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C wavelengths. UV-C is often referred to as germicidal UV because it can destroy microorganisms by scrambling their DNA. UV-C light is, therefore, a highly effective method of air purification, sterilization, and disinfection. UV-C lights installed in our systems eliminate and sterilize common contaminants to ensure the air inside your wine cellar is VOC (volatile organic compounds) free.
