Wine Guardian Wine Cellar Room Heater

The heating option is designed for when the spaces surrounding the wine cellar fall below 55°F (10°C) for a while. Should the cellar fall below set point then the heater will act to warm the air entering into the wine cellar.

The lowest temperature that the surrounding space should be for this heater option to work effectively is approximately 45 degrees or higher. A lot depends upon the insulation properties of the wine room walls, but assuming it's a well built cellar with a minimum of R13 I would say around 45 degrees F. The heater is 500 watts and creates a temperature delta of about 4 degrees F. 

Although the cooling units are rated for various size rooms, the thermal load may require a larger sized cooling unit.  Thermal load may be affected by glass in the cellar, room positioning or other factors.  Please let a Rosehill Wine Cellar rep make some suggestions for you if needed.
